INFO COVID-19
Due to the ongoing spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) coupled with the feedback received from our recently conducted survey, we have taken the decision to postpone the IV. International Symposium on Horticulture in Europe (SHE), the V. International Humulus Symposium (IHS) and the VIII. International Symposium on Human Health Effects of Fruits and Vegetables (FAV Health) in Stuttgart to March 8 – 12, 2021. The rapid global escalation of the virus with the subsequent travel and other restrictions being imposed have made it impossible to hold these symposia with international attendance at the originally scheduled date in June 2020.
These symposia are much more than a great scientific event about horticulture. It is a unique opportunity to meet, take part in an active exchange of knowledge, get in touch with old friends, make new friends, and take home ideas and techniques that can be put into practice immediately. This is not practicable at the moment but will certainly be so once the global health situation has normalized.
The planning and preparation for these symposia to dates will not go to waste. We will use the time to make the event even better and an unforgettable experience for you and our community as a whole.
Registration
We would like to thank you for registering and deeply regret the disruption this postponement will cause you. Your registration fee is valid for 2021, but if you wish, you can get a refund without any deductions. For a refund of your registration fee, please send your bank data (IBAN, BIC, bank address, bank account holder) to our registration office at she2020@interplan.de. Early bird registration ends on October 31, 2020. Registration will soon be open again.
Submission
Abstracts and manuscripts already submitted will automatically be considered for the new symposium date. If you can not participate in March 2021, the abstract is automatically withdrawn. New abstracts or abstract revisions can be submitted until September 1, 2020. Manuscripts can be submitted or revised (if already submitted) until October 1, 2020 to include your research findings in the Acta Horticulturae that is provided on a USB stick at the start of the symposia to each delegate. Please contact directly the convener (jnwuensche@uni-hohenheim.de) if you need to withdraw or modify your abstract or manuscript.
