Best of Stuttgart
Porsche Museum
The Porsche Museum has been presenting automotive history and “Fascination Porsche” in an incomparable style ever since 2009. The impressive building is located in the heart of the company’s home city of Zuffenhausen and was designed by the Delugan Meissl architectural firm of Vienna.

Mercedes Benz Museum
The Museum celebrates the automobile invented by Carl Benz in 1886: it relates its history and tells its stories, bringing both alive by placing them in the context of technology, day-to-day life, social history and popular culture. More than 160 vehicles of all types are the main protagonists. They range from some of the oldest automobiles ever built to legendary racing cars and futuristic research vehicles.
Together with other exhibits, they form the centrepiece of the permanent exhibition covering a total of 16,500 square metres in twelve rooms. This unparalleled world can be discovered on two tours that follow a ‘Legend’ and ‘Collection’ narrative.

Market Hall Stuttgart
Behind the heavy entrance doors of this grand art nouveau building a paradise of lucullan pleasures is hidden: Aceto Balsamico and honey mead, Baklawa and exotic spices – a touch of the Mediterranean and the Orient blows through the spacious halls. Poultry, fish and meat of a high quality are always a standard in the market hall. At any time of the year in abundance, diverse and colorful, the market hall presents the impressive offers artistically and appetizingly arranged, native products harmoniously lie next to international and ecological-biological products.

Schlosspark Stuttgart (Palace Square)
Stuttgart’s Palace Square is the vibrant heart of the city, but at the same time it’s a place to linger, within easy walking distance of many of the city’s attractions. Palace Square is therefore Stuttgart’s hub and an integral part of any stroll through town. Stuttgart’s Palace Square is a place both to celebrate and relax. Open-air concerts are held here at regular intervals against the backdrop of the New Palace and at the beginning of August Stuttgart’s Summer Festival transforms Palace Square and the Upper Palace Gardens into a gaily lit, elegant promenade.
